Quantitative Research in Education, Adult Student Market Research | Resolution Research | Denver Colorado

> Research with Education

For over twenty years, Resolution Research® has successfully helped educational institutions better position themselves to educate and attract learners. A few clients for whom we have conducted nationwide telephone marketing research include The College Board, Education Dynamics, Policy Studies in Education, and The Law School Admissions Council.

Since 1990, we have maintained a close relationship with these clients and have conducted hundreds of studies in higher education. Past study formats include: computer assisted telephone interview (CATI) surveys, in-depth interviews (some lasting as long as an hour), online surveys conducted using both our panel and university-supplied lists, outreach to corporate heads for phone surveys and appointment setting, and even in-person town hall meetings. We once recruited the entire group of participants for a CNN town hall “dial test” that was then live broadcast during a presidential speech! (That was a little nerve-racking to say the least, but we’re proud to say it went off without a hitch.) We’ve interviewed administrators, current and prospective students, alumni, and local residents and businesses in order to gauge awareness of and satisfaction with advertising, tuition, new course/curriculum/degree/certificate offerings, new branch locations, online learning design, branding, hiring practices, corporate training, foreign student exchange, daycare, and more. In fact, you’d be hard-pressed to find an aspect of higher education that we haven’t researched at one point or another.

We employ only college-educated researchers. Our experience has taught us that the educational insight and articulateness of those conducting research can have a dramatic effect on the quality and success of a project. This helps us ensure the highest quality data collection possible.

Being in education, you should know the following:

  • Who attends your college and why?
  • Who attends your competition and why?
  • What and how you should advertise?
  • Where you should advertise?
  • What services are needed?
  • How, when, where and which classes should be offered?

Resolution Research can answer these questions and more.

We can randomly survey the population of a certain geographical area, contact current or former students, survey local businesses about their impressions of your graduates, or conduct on-line surveys to help identify those interested in studying on-line.
