Resolution Research® conducts naming research by
interviewing customers or potential customers to discover preferences, attitudes
and motivations as related to possible names under consideration. These studies
provide incredible direction for future marketing and ultimately support the
successful launch of a new product or service. Resolution has worked with small
and large naming companies on products/services including toothbrushes, books,
clothing, start-ups and more. Secondary and legal research can also be provided.
As an example: Resolution Research conducted a naming study for a new play
place that would have activities for children, as well as restaurants and
services for parents. Women with children nine years of age or younger were
interviewed by telephone. These interviews were targeted to reach the audience
within a specific radius of the new company’s location. Resolution Research
designed the survey instrument, conducted telephone interviews and presented the
results, including a full written analysis and color charts & graphs.
